Imaginez un instant, c'est l'été 1981, la musique pop est en plein boom. C'est à ce moment-là que NRJ voit le jour, une radio créée par Jean-Paul Baudecroux pour les jeunes, avec une idée simple : diffuser des hits musicaux sans interruption. Dès le début, NRJ se distingue par sa qualité sonore et sa programmation dynamique, et devient rapidement l'une des radios les plus populaires à Paris.
NRJ a compris l'importance d'être proche de son public. Elle a donc mis en place un réseau de radios locales franchisées, s'assurant ainsi d'être présente dans toute la France. Et pour aller encore plus loin, NRJ s'est lancée en bourse en 1991, montrant son ambition de devenir une force majeure dans le paysage radiophonique français.
Aujourd'hui, NRJ est une véritable success story. Avec des millions d'auditeurs chaque jour, des centaines de webradios et des animateurs stars comme Manu, Sébastien Cauet et Louis Daubé, NRJ continue de diffuser ses "10 hits à la suite" toutes les heures, fidèlement à sa promesse de "Hit Music Only!".
